Pricing
ContractorFinder is free for contractors. Your basic listing is free, claiming it is free, and there is no paid ContractorFinder plan at launch. Paid services are optional and do not affect directory ranking, claim approval or map placement.
Your basic listing — free
Available now. A published listing includes the business name, trade, general location, publicly available contact details and, where one applies, the license record with its issuing authority. Inclusion in the directory is not an endorsement.
Being listed costs nothing, and nobody has to pay to stay listed. Accurate information is not removed for payment.
Claiming your listing — free
Free. A listing connected to our listings platform is claimed on listings.contractorfinder.com, starting from the Claim this business button on its ContractorFinder profile. For a listing that is not connected to our listings platform yet, the profile says so and shows no claim button. Claiming costs nothing, no payment speeds it up, and ContractorFinder does not take claims by email. It confirms you manage the profile. It does not change license information and is not an endorsement.
Nothing on this site is sold
No listing on this site is promoted or sponsored, and we do not sell placement or ranking. Listings on state, city and trade pages are ordered alphabetically by business name. If promoted placement is ever offered, it will be labeled on the listing itself. How listings are ordered.
Our listings platform (listings.contractorfinder.com) may display plan names or prices; a business page there currently shows "Plan Type: Free". None of them can be bought through ContractorFinder at launch, and none is needed to be listed, to claim, or to keep a listing.
A separate, optional service
ContractorWebsites.ai is a separate, paid service for contractors who want their website, customer follow-up and job scheduling in one system, run by the team behind ContractorFinder. It is optional. It is not a ContractorFinder plan, it does not change your listing or its position, it is never required to claim, and it does not guarantee leads or rankings. Pricing and what is included are set out on For contractors and on ContractorWebsites.ai itself.
What payment never changes
- Any change to license number, classification, issuing authority, status, or check date.
- An endorsement, rating, certification, or recommendation.
- Removal or suppression of accurate information, including licensing problems.
- A better position in an alphabetical list.
- Faster connection of a not-yet-connected listing.
How to tell where you stand
Open your profile page — search your business name on Find Contractors. If it shows a Claim this business button you can claim it today, free, on our listings platform. If it says the listing is not connected to our listings platform yet, it cannot be claimed online yet. Either way, For contractors explains what you can change.
